I recently purchased an Ellesse sports watch on eBay. It is the only “designer” item I have ever bought. It was used and had a shortened proprietary stainless band that would fit only the narrowest wrist. Thus I spent very little on it. I fabricated an attractive extension for it in solid titanium. It now fits me perfectly. The watch itself seems to be of very solid construction and I’m happy with the quality. I would not have interested in it but for the 2892-A2 movement. I believe it would be difficult to purchase such quality elsewhere for so cheap. Why would a designer use such quality? JBB West Chester, Pa., U.S.A.
