The Breitling company was fouded in 1884, deep in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland. Initially, they specialized in making chronographs and precision counters for scientific and industrial purposes. And not long after 1892 year emerged as an innovator in the nacent international watchmaking industry. As a leader in chronographic equipment and technology, the Breitling company's timepieces are symbolic of navigation and adventure.

I have this watch, It has had light use. However, the top of the strap near face has come away, i have got it wet a couple of times. So if you have this watch, be aware of this as straps cost alot!

What is the purpose "other than decorative" of the gradual holes on either side of the watch?

I am lucky enough to have one of the limited edition Danicka Patrick watches. My husband bought it for me last summer in Montreal. The white band does get dirty faster than other colored bands but a little leather cleaner brightened it up considerably. Unfortunately the two little loops that the band slides into just broke so now I'm looking for a new band. The mechanics on the watch have been excellent and my husbands a pilot so for fun, I sometimes check the altimeter and it has been very close to the planes altimeter!

The T-Touch is indeed a cool watch. I own one. However, the altimeter and thermometer have both stopped working on mine, and the authorized Tissot dealers I approached all said that it would be expensive to repair. Also, I am guessing that the white strap on this one will be very hard to keep white.
