A dufus came into the shoppe yesterday wearing a fairly new TAG
Carrara Chrono. One of the pushers had fallen out and so to make the
watch look “even,” this brain dead twit pulled out the other pusher
with a pair of pliers. To top it off, he wasn’t going to have it repaired,
plus he has a girlfriend! I hope they don’t get married and
have kids.

    good anecdote. but honestly I don’t dig the look of that watch at all, myself. $1,500??

    This is not an issue of being a watch-n00b; i just dislike watches with tiny little split-second dials embedded on their face. I call that ‘clutter’.

    I’m not all that big on the Carrera Chrono either and those pushers remind me of those plastic digital stopwatches that were all so popular when I was young.

    No no no. He was really making a statement about his class and position. He’s saying that he’s the type of man who can afford to vandalize a $2000 watch and not feel bad about it! Don’t believe him? Give him another $2K Tag and he’ll show you who’s the boss!
