A nice little tour of a few Cuervo y Sobrinos watches. C y S is a “Cuban” brand with a decidedly island flavor that goes great with a nice cigar and a mojito. I don’t mind the style, but it’s got a bit of charm so I’ll forgive it its indiscretions.

    My grandfather, Ricardo A. Rivon, was the owner of Cuervo y Sobrinos until he left Cuba and Castro stole the name , building and what was left of the jewelry.
    The guys that are using the brand name are not cubans and had nothing to do ever with my grandfather or the original owners, The Cuervo family. Just wanted to clarify that “cuban flavor”….
