Invicta sucks – It’s confirmed

I always though Invicta was shady but here’s some confirmation. This poor guy gets his watch back in WORSE condition than when he sent it in.

I sent my Invicta Dune diver back to Invicta in October of last year to have them replace the lume dot on the bezel, which had fallen out, after only wearing the watch about three times. The movement on this watch was also very stiff and something was not right with it from day one. I sent a check for $25 per their warranty instructions.

I received a card back in the mail about three weeks later acknowledging receipt of my watch, with an estimated delivery back to me of mid-November. So far, so good.

Well, I didn’t receive the watch back until December 13th, so this simple repair took 2-1/2 months, which is an incredibly long time to wait, IMHO. All my experiences with Seiko’s COSERV have taken about three weeks at the most. Invicta also did me the favor of scratching the bezel on the watch, with a visible mark running from the ‘50’ to the ‘56’ on the bezel. This scratch was NOT there when the watch was sent in for ‘service.’ They did replace the lume dot and seemingly serviced the movement, but they damaged the watch in the process by scratching the bezel.

I immediately, within 20 minutes of receiving the watch, emailed Invicta’s customer service center describing the problem and requesting that my $25 be refunded to me (I did not receive adequate service from them, only a damaged watch in return) and/or a new replacement bezel be sent to me, as I had no intention of sending my watch back in and risking further damage or another 2-1/2 month wait. I do not think this request was out of line in any way.

After receiving no response, I proceeded over the next two weeks to email Invicta’s service center, customer service personnel and their sales department three more times, with absolutely no response from anyone. We’re talking a total of about 13 emails without response.

    Too funny. I own a lot of Invicta’s also. I see also alot of people lie. Try them and if you dislike just return. I don’t understand all the problems people have either. I own around 72 and love them.

    It’s real simple. Invicta is the best. The only issue with Invicta is that they produce so many watches and versions they delute the market. They also flood with discounts, some break like all compaines they get shopped off then things happen. People buy them from flea markets and then complain. Also just about every watch has different versions now, so Swiss made, Swiss movement, Swiss parts, Chinese parts, ect. gets tossed into all one group. Smart people, however, buy tons of Invicta’s and love them. Others drool over them even the other watch brands-especially the more conservative retail less high-end ones. Just got my 57th and it’s as wonderful as the first. Metrorite Pro-diver. Google them because it’s rings quality, pop, and fun.

    What a blessed day!! After shopping at 3am getting around 12 xbox 360 games and multiple TB drives for myself with great holiday deals. I come home to find the UPS shown up with multiple Reserve’s. Anybody on the fence needs to try to buy a beautiful watch from the choosen one’s at Invicta. I realize there is alot of nonsense on web, clowns claiming their Ionic plating fell off, which is impossible, and numerous other “drama” falsehoods, but speaking from one of the many. At any price point best watches on Earth inless you want to have just one nice watch than buy Breitling or Rolex, but all the Zods, Guess, Gucci, Swiss legend, Android, numerous other hundreds of watch brands, all with the same standards or less, than the Titans at Invicta will not be equally matched. Because like so many more before on this site. You cannot mess with Invicta. I cannot even explain to you in human words, how incredible my gunmetal noma iv automatic I just got it. What a day! I’m so happy I’m going to buy later the Noma 3 for black friday on Amazon with I never thought I would do. I only ever buy from ShopNBC and hopefully I will have no issues because how can you beat Noma 3 limited gray for under $180 you can’t. Probably best watches around. I own like 16 Noma 3′s and they are better than little children. Happy Holidays

    Invicta watches are definitely of inferior quality. Their sales (50%-85% off) is never ending. As most of their models are not worth anything above $ 50.00
    Customer Service and Repairs is lousy, inefficient, slow and costly.
    Please buy something that is reliable.
    (And all those folks here praising Invicta are probably employees of the company. If you read reviews of their watches on Amazon, and compare all the reviews you will see how same language and words are used by fake profiles.

    Wow-not worth $50 if anybody knows anything about watches. I have about 70 that I would pay hundreds for. 7750 movement by itself is around $700. Do people even know what they say or just say it”??????????????

    I’m real and love Invicta. Nothing is wrong with them. Some of the models are less than others and it makes a huge difference buying from a legitimate source other than people. I don’t know about Amazon, but it says they give 100% refund. I’m not saying their the best watches on the Planet like some. I’m just saying $50 to $1000 ones are really awesome. Right now for example I got my Leviathan on and love it. Paid under $200 for it. Can’t beat it. Live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan nice area. Took another watch to expensive store. They thought Invicta was over $1600. Does it matter? No, but it’s nice to know that employees that sell Omega, Rolex, Bentz, and others that cost thousands more think little cheap ass Invictas are 2G plus. I just got another Bolt also another quality watch that is worth 10 times what it cost. My friend has nice Rolex cost $16,000 (nice watch), Yet, my COSC diver reserve is almost just as nice for not even fraction. More people compliment mine then his. Does that matter? NO, but it’s nice to know. Invicta inless you’re buying Chinese Garage or refurbs is fine. Especially for a younger person or non $16,000 having for a watch person. I’m not sure about customer service maybe they are horrible. I know I own everything and almost everything I own sucks at customer service except my Sony tv and Iphone. Just something else to think about. Also for people on the fence. How do all these complaints happen when Invicta sells over 50000 watches a month. How do all these people get broken watches when I own over 70, friends own multiples, and from other posts I read on here, many own multiples. Then you have 100% refunds, especially from Shopnbc.com they even return shipping. So I guess what I’m saying is the facts don’t add up.

    All watch brands MSR prices are jacked up. Invicta actually has changed now at Shopnbc.com. not every single Reserve is $1200 plus now-more conservative. Than again some of them cost around $180-$300, thats what garbage cost at stores. Things like Zodiac, Guess, Croton, ect. There are no better watches under $500 than certain Invicta’s except and I’m sure this will bring alot of wise guy comments, but I also love Rernato. I seen a few other people bring them up so I will also. I’m sure someone is going to say how cheap they are also, but half the people on here are casio-type peeps.

    I own Invicta model #4841 should be $5,000. it’s made better than watches that cost 3 to 10 times it cost. Google it. All these complaints about Invicta make no sense. Not everyone can buy the higher model ones like this, but even the cheaper pro-divers are excellent. Even the miyota automatics are supherb. They run about 10-16 seconds a month off exact. That’s great for $70-$120 automatic. I’m extremely puzzled by Invicta junk claims also. I noticed someone said something about Amazon.com-maybe some of the complaints on there are from people buying from people NOT COMPAINIES. Anybody inless they have $5000 to spend should by Invicta only. Inless you dislike quality, color, larger time pieces, and the problem with Invicta selling millions of watches, so then they have some problems and lesser models, so there name is tarnished, but Noma’s, Bolts, Excursions, Venoms, Specialitys, Lupahs, ect. are equal if not better than 95% of the brands out there.

Invicta was the one that stunned and made even pussy Rolex jealous. This is comical because those watches hundreds of models and brands sell for $3000 Plus to $50000. Yet, they can’t even do what Invicta does. This is also called “facts” like some of the other people talked about. I’m not sure about their customer service either, maybe it needs work. But quality, price, craftmanship, sizes, models, colors, ect. are second to none. All these people that claim Invicta is so bad-makes no sense at all. There is a youtube video of a pathetic (I think law enforcement kid) who claims his Pro-diver is the best, priceless (this is funny also, he paid $375 for $80 automatic) after he praises it for 20 mins, he then goes into the complaint. The best part of this story is the moron shows quartz also says he bought it from pokerstars.net. So this the kind of nonsense that Invicta haters bring to the table. First off, get your watches straight. Quartz is not automatic. Also next maybe buy from a legitimate source (I personally think alot of these problems are from people buying from their fellow meth heads or refurbs, like some said before me). Why? Did this clown, who claims he is law enforcement not only pay $300 more than normal price, but then is too stupid to actually make Youtube video corectly with correct watch. This goes to the fact that like most of the claims are indeed false. People love to say gold falls off-this is incredible-it goes beyond the realms of science. Other’s say they break. This is interesting I know personally I own alot and drive in them and use them daily, never had a problem. Maybe though-then again you have a warranty. If you buy from a legitimate source like ShopNBC.com you have over month to get 100% refund. I don’t buy on Amazon, but even there I think you have even better return. Then another issue is the problem with people not understanding that just about every Invicta has multiple models, where you have Japanese movement, Swiss parts, Swiss movement, and Swiss Made. this is not just printed on Watches made in a closet. Swiss Made under $250 is incredible. No real difference between decent Invicta’s and hundreds of other watches like Zodiac (they just about suck), Crotons (not a fan), Casios, Seikos, ect….ect…..ect….Hundreds later just every single company is almost worthless, except for a whopping two compaines that have higher metal then 316L., At least Invicta makes awesome models for just about everyone. If you need a dress watch then NO (not a fan). Invicta is so bad to the choosen people who make no sense, then why is it the number one Watch company in the World (that is fact in reality)? Why are they one of two who sell Meteroite? Why do they have hundreds of thousands of devoted buyers, and lastly this is the best part that shows how great they are? Why do they have CNC machinery on their casebacks that have more detail, time, thought, and effort besides quality than most compaines have in their entire watch. The reality of the situaction speaks for itself. Very cool watches, for low prices, quality, and craftmanship beyond the norm.

    Like a recent post who said he had his Leviathan on-God praise you Brother. I wore mine today. Absoultely incredible watch. If the band wasn’t too long and they changed the top because it cuts into the case from the strap then this would be equal to $800 to $1500 watch easy.

Absoultely incredible watches for the money. Invicta has the best design, quality, prices, market, concepts, sizes, ect. Anybody on the fence needs to buy one and see that people online like yahoo and made up websites simple have an axe to grind. Take the step and see that you will have a nice watch for fraction of the cost. Better than most on the market at any price. Do that simple thing or just go buy a sub brand Techomarine maybe for like $500, Swiss Legends (can’t hold Invicta nuts), Omega, Breitling, ect. Some great watches out there, just not as classes and quality as little cheap Invicta. Thats the real fn deal like Criss Angel-no BS at Invicta.

    My newest are model #6894, 0219, and 6868. All of these are almost priceless. Quality is there. Craftmanship is there. Design is there. Exclusiveness is there. Heftyness is there. Maybe all these so-called complaints should actually buy an Invicta. Not a factory reject, used one where some kid played with it and broke it, and/or a legitimate store. Invicta is perhaps the best watch brand in the market. That is why Little Wayne fresh out of prison the other day on TMZ had a Invicta Reserve red Bolt on with all his millions and outfit sense. He still chooses to wear Bolt. Invicta is that damn good-PERIOD.

Invicta makes some nice looking watches, unfortunately, their quality control and customer service do not exist. They design but DO NOT manufacture their product and do not apparently have any control over the Chinese factories they contract with. Also, for the geniuses that like to throw around the term CNC, exactly how do you think any watch case is made fools? Ahhh the stupidity. Merry Christmas ya stupid shits!

    They used to tout those ridiculous retail list prices, now they don’t. They used to HAVE BUILT for them a decent watch, now they don’t. I would love to be one of the drones that buy their watches at $1600 only to see it drop to $400 in a couple of months; and $400 would still be too much for their product. They have some sharp trend designs but, quality is a word not in their vocabulary.

    I have had nothing but problem with my invicta watch , send back three time and still not repaired. I think I’m just out of a watch after paying 200.00 FOR IT I would not buy Invicta watches just send CEO Lalo money and watch him get rich.

    I own 3 Invictas and have never had a problem. I also own a Rolex. However much I love my Invicta Watches, to compare them to my Rolex would be absolutely ridiculous. Invicta is NO WHERE NEAR the quality of Rolex. Invicta may attempt to duplicate the style and features of a Rolex but there is a reason those knock-offs cost $89.00 (unless they’re on sale for $49.00 on Shop.NBC). Like everything in life, you get what you pay for. My advice: If you are willing to spend a few hundred dollars on an Invicta, stick with a model that doesn’t have 25 different variations every 6 months. Most of them are hideous anyway. And if you wasting your money buying 5 or 6 of those pieces of crap, save your money and buy a Rolex.

    dont know if you buy a invicta watch from shop nbc or sams club or any retailers that sell
    invicta watches that the retail price they give you is not right. I recently bought a bolt invicta
    from sams club for $271.00 the new one with the dragon with mop,the suggested mrsp was
    $1,295 had the flame fusion crystal,had the watch less than a week and I was getting out of car and banged the edge of crystal on door barely and the crystal chipped,so I called
    invicta and talked to service dept and guy told me to send it back and was going to cost
    $98.00 for new crystal then he said hold on and connected me to another lady name samanthy and she told me the mrsp for the watch was $2,495.00 and it was going to cost
    $180.00 for new crystal and $28.00 dollars to ship watch back and I told her she was crazy
    the mrsp on tag from Sams club was $1,295 she said no way they go by there own mrsp
    even you buy a watch from shop nbc you better be ready for a shock if something happens
    to your watch because you look when they sell a watch on shopnbc you only see retail price
    not msrp.Thank goodness sam’s club took watch back and will be last invitca watch i buy from these suppose to be top of the line watche sellers!!

    Yeah, this once again in the same old song – someone buys something and proves it’s garbage, only to have “watchgeeks” show up and start up with the old Invicta love. Tell you what; buying an Invicta watch is settling, not smart. Their build quality is horrid, their customer service even worse, and the people who represent the company hold their own customers in the lowest possible contempt. The worst watch company EVER!

    I just got an Invicta J-178800 or as everyone else sells the #6213. Gorgeous watch! That being said if you are looking for a watch with an alarm(as this one sells as) don’t buy it. You can not hear it. Useless! Also if you want to read the time in the dark (has tritnite) don’t bother trying 20 minutes after dark even if you left it in direct sunlight for hours. My biggest problem was with customer service. They knew nothing! In fact i was told that if I was on Shop$$$.com I knew as much as they do. I’m going to keep it as it really is a looker, but need a watch that can alarm when I need it and I can see the time in the dark. I’kk probably spend $27.00 at Walmart and get a Casio or Timex that will do all I want. Sad huh?

    The Invicta Reserve Men’s Specialty Subaqua Swiss Quartz, a 52 mm swiss made timepiece that I just added to my collection of 7000 Invicta timepieces. It takes 780 pieces to just make the body of the timepiece that sits in the cradle of the timepiece. This is a real attention getter that more than compensates for my bug fucker needle dick! The bros at watchgeeks.net really love to discuss fine timepieces like this. They are real hores. Thank you Eeyore, Mike the drunk, Jawbone and that other schmoe Nayth for a fine place to buy and discuss timepieces!

    Invicta is a total junk brand. They pretend to be Swiss yet they manufacture their products in China. They just churn out crap like crazy. If you go on Amazon you will see them with an MSRP of 800 dollars, yet somehow they are on sale for 60. haha What a joke.

    Don’t be an Invictim. I read all these stupid reviews from people who say, “I have 50 Invictas and they are all perfect.” What a load of crap that is. Just fake posts from the company. Nice try guys.

    I know people who have “divers watches” made by Invicta and the watch stopped working due to high humidity! They didn’t even go diving with the watch. The watch got corroded on the inside due to crappy case-work. Invicta sucks ass.

    i agree invicta service sucks. my wife bought a watch from shop nbc and 3 months later the band broke. i called invicta got the runaround. they want 7 dollars for the parts and up to 3 months to get them. now that is crapy service end of story. stay away

And let’s just say it….the rolex is just an expensive and boring watch. And you know what? I’d like to test the water resistancy of a hundred dollar invicta against rolex. You really think rolex wins?? I actually bought an Invicta and as it turned out it was a disaster. But I also have a bunch of others including one with a meteor dial that are incredablly great (including low prices).

Get a grip and learn something about FINE QUALITY WATCHES, not cheap chinese marketing watches. Invicta has a history as a company claiming to be swiss made, when they are made in CHINA!!!!!! FACT!!!!!!! SWALLOW IT NOW!!!!!! Lol, gloating all over Invicta because you are stupid enough to believe their hype is really quite funny.     I just bought an Invicta SubAqua 37 days ago at a Zales Jewelry Store. I gotta admit, I saw it and liked the look. it looked awesome and that is why i was willing to pay $360 for it. The Crystal is now cracked all the way across! From one extreme to the other. The watch is a piece of Shit and after calling the service center, I realized that I had just got ripped off and totally cheated. All the comments about the Invicta watch being assembled in China is absolutely True! The watch is the biggest sub standard piece of crap I have every owned. please please do not buy one. It is a huge mistake.

    Wait, more than willing to rip a company that deserves it, but, how did the crystal get cracked from, “one extreme to another?” This sounds just like someone that had an accident and now they want to cry ‘foul.’ Crystals just don’t crack. Come on…. are you an AZZ HAT? Think so!

    just happened to go by & saw your new movie: “Rolex vs Invicta.” If the rolex wasnt a helluva lot better than Invicta, then you got a scoop…look what rolex charges (what a ripoff; do you have any idea how much you pay for their advertising). And let’s just say it….the rolex is just an expensive and boring watch. And you know what? I’d like to test the water resistancy of a hundred dollar invicta against rolex. You really think rolex wins?? I actually bought an Invicta and as it turned out it was a disaster. But I also have a bunch of others including one with a meteor dial that are incredablly great (including low prices).

    My husband and 2 sons love Invicta watches. We bought this one for our 18 yr old. The watch looks great, the right size on his wrist, can be worn casual or formal, color combination is eye catching and, like all the Invictas we’ve purchased, keeps excellent time. The only issue with this particular watch is the black bezel. He has had the watch for a month or so and that part of the watch already looks old. The material on the bezel scratches and wears off way too quickly.

    ***Part of the ionic plating bonded at the molecular level…INVICTA STYLE! As a side note, Bob, bobs for dhick!

    Now they are selling a Sub Aqua Nitro for 300 plus and it is mostly plastic. The fools buying it are just concerned with the ‘compliments’ they get when wearing it. Most probably from other fools dumb enough to buy a plastic watch and from people in their delusional worlds they live in!

    I know people who have “divers watches” made by Invicta and the watch stopped working due to high humidity! They didn’t even go diving with the watch. The watch got corroded on the inside due to crappy case-work. Invicta sucks ass.

    Hmmm, I have 3 divers and been diving with two of them and havn’t had any issues. I have 6 invictas and have never had any issues what so ever.

    Not all watches from Invicta are produced well. Thay have alot of hits and misses. They are not trying to be like Rolex, Tag or Lacroix. Invicta is a middle of the line watch brand like Bulova, Esq, citzen, kennth cole and Wenger. The divers, that every Invicta basher is talking about, (funny they all have the same story…oh made in china, oh they suck, oh the divers suck, oh oh oh they are made in china, oh they are crap…oh oh wait didnt someone already copy me and say that like 100 times. get a new story) Of course you cant compare a $50 Invicta diver to a $5000 rolex or any other expensive brand. Funny that the bashers do. Now wait…I am not saying Invicta is a high end brand…just reading all the same things the same copy bashers are saying. I find it funny that the bashers cant compare an Invicta Reserve Pro diver for $999 that has the 7751 Valjoux and yes swiss made… ( the swiss would sue them like crazy if they were lying and all the swiss made movement makers like eta and ronda and sellita would not sell to them if they were lying…Boy ol Boy we have some educated bashers that really know their stuff…oh wait ya they just copy the other basher instead of finding their own proof. Way to go bashers…hahaah…NOW WAIT I AM NOT SAYING INVICTA IS A HIGH END BRAND) The bashers cant compare cuz none of them have ever bought a reserve piece from invicta only the cheap $50 ones. Of course they suck…what do u expect for $50? They do, however have alot of its and misses. I bought a $99 invicta ocean ghost and the band would not click…I sent it back and sent me a new one. No problems…and it has been 3 yrs and not one problem yet. I did however buy a Bulova and Nordstroms for $425 on sale and the dam thing stopped working completly…does that mean Bulova sucks?…No! It was a defective movement.
    The bashers who say people are dumb to pay $300 for an Invicta that has a swiss eta 2824 auto, and 316 steel band and great looks, are you kidding…we are dumb? Some people think it is dumb to pay $6678 for the same metal band and the same movement and a watch that looks like the guy sitting next to you and the other guy too. Come on…really? we are dumb to pay$300 ….well some might think people are dumb to pay for $6678 for the brands advertising. That is a fact. Cant argue it. People pay $1000s and $1000s for brands advertising…but the bashers are not concerned about facts and truth all they want to do is bash that brand. WAIT I AM NOT SAYING INVICTA IS A HIGH END WATCH BRAND… They are a satisfactory watch maker…if they weren’t then Swiss movement maker Sellita would not have given them the rights to put their brand new sw500 auto chrono in the Invicta Lupah and actually do the final build for it. The Invicta Lupah was first watch to have the SW500 in it. Sellita, a huge swiss brand that is making the SW500 to follow and compare to the Val 7750. Invicta must be doing something right to let Sellita put their reputation on the line. I have noticed that the well educated watch peolpe on the net and the ones I have talked to dont think Invicta suck…they think how I do…they ahve a lot of hits and misses. They are for the middle buyer like a Bulova, Citizen, Guess, Keneth Cole, wenger, nixon and ESQ. Not brands like Rolex, tag, lacroix… come on bashers… get it right guys. You cant compare a $80 invicta to a $8000 roles…jeeeezzz wow.

    By the way guys… I can care less what you guys say about invicta. Its not my company. I can tell what is good and what is bad. I am not prejudice against 1 company or another. I know Invicta is not the best watch brand out there…however is it as bad as all the peolpe say? They cant be… they are stil around. I had a problem with 1 invicta as I did with 1 bulova and 1 victorinox…and victorinox is supposed to be good also. Does that mean they suck? No!!.
    I have 1 cheap invicta $80 and 1 mid priced at $799 that has the 7750 valjoux. Do you bashers no what that is? LOL. Bet some of you dont.
    I also have a Tag aquaracer pvd, Tissot PRS 516 that has a 7750 Valjoux and my favorite, Baume & Mercier Guilloche.
    Mid range I have a couple Bulovas, 1 ESQ, 1 older Movado, couple Kenneth Coles and 1 Victoinox.
    low range…I have the cheap invicta diver $80, 1 old citizen, and an old swatch from the 80s hahaaha…still works though.
    See… I am a watch collector and lover. I have all kinds…we all cant buy the same $10,000 rolex…i wouldnt want to…I want to be different and noticed, not the same.
    And once and for all… I dont think Invicta is the best brand…just ok for the money.

    Yes I know I miss spelled alot of words…LOL. I am not saying Invicta is the best or worst. It is all about what u believe and have had in the past. I have had 3 sony products that broke on me and will never buy them again. But every one of my friends swear sony is the best. I didnt go on a post and bash sony either. I am sure sony has some good products and the ones I got were malfunctioning.
    I just read some more post from the past and all the invicta bashers are constantly talking about the PRO DIVER and how the PRO DIVER SUCKS… Invicta has made over 20,000 of them worldwide. Now I am not saying Invicta is the best. I dont care what big company you are…GE, Invicta, johnson & johnson, Toyata, honda or Gmac…big companies that produce alot will have some that break and come back…duh ! These are the ones we are hearing about from the invicta basher… The $80 pro diver auto that 20,000 people have bought and even if 2000 came back that is normal for a business that sells that much product. But the well educated basher would know that….Well i guess not. Again all the bashers use the same PRO DIVER because none of them no what they are talking about…they just know how to copy the one basher before them and say PRO DIVER SUCK. NOW i AM NOT SAYING INVICTA IS A GREAT BRAND…just find it funny how all the bashers have the same story and the cheap $60 watch. I am sure now that I am mentioning Lupah and Reserve the bashers will now copy me and start using those words also. Seriously…go back and look at the post…THEY ALL SAY PRO DIVER PRO DIVER PRO DIVER… so funny how they copy and bash just to bash. Not one mentioned a different watch only the pro diver. Because they are copying each other and never owned one because if they did they would not bash it because the watches are pretty nice.
