Seiko’s coveted Spring Drive movement has previously only been available in Japan, however the new Ananta line will be released in the U.S. this November.

The Ananta is a mechanical watch, hand-assembled in Japan, and inspired by the ancient weapon of the Samurai warrior; the katana. There are two different models in the Ananta line, available in several different finishes. The basic model, known as the SPB017 will sell for $2100. The more advanced (chronograph) version, called the SPS009, will start at $6400. For more information, check out Seiko’s website.
