So long, 2011!

Since it is the last day of the year, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you, gentle reader, for coming along with me on this wild ride.  It’s been an interesting 4-5 months so far reviewing watches, and I’m looking forward to some things we’ve got in the works for 2012.

Also, I want to offer up a chance for you to point me in the direction of some pieces for review.  If you have a watch in your collection (or wish was in it) that you’d like us to take a closer look at, feel free to post a comment on this post, and I’ll see what I can do.

Have yourselves a safe evening, and we’ll pick it up again next year.

Can you find a tactical watch with a NATO or urethane/rubber strap, black case, and automatic movement, all for under $550?

Hi Patrick, I’ve recently purchased a TAG-Heuer Carrera Heritage Calibre 6 watch (non-chronograph). I absolutely love it. I would appreciate it if you could take some time to take an in-depth look of this understated watch. Thanks!

Let’s give Patrick a round of applause for helping breathe new life into this blog and thanks to everyone for reading all these years.

I would love to hear about all of the new “In House” movements that are being produced now that ETA will no longer sell their movements to everyone. I would also like to hear about the lower-end automatics from the likes of NFW, Epos, O&W and Marathon etc…

Hi Patrick, I enjoyed your reviews and photos last year! Expecting more great work this year. I suggest you consider writing a guide to building a watch collection. And perhaps a maintenance guide for the fine watch owner.
