Very unique function, and the more of those the better in the watchmaking industry. I like the 0 6 look as well.

  • Mike Dalton

I love the non-traditional ways of displaying dates, etc. Adds to the uniqueness of the watch :) Thanks guys!!!

  • Terry Shea

Gorgeous watch. Unique without being gimmicky.

  • grawk

I like the straight line against the dial. Contrast but readable. Beautiful layout. Well done.

  • JonR

I like the day of week display on this watch. It’s very readable and has a unique look. The AVI-8 pulls off the aviator style very nicely.

  • Neal Goodacre

Very unique way of displaying the day of the week. Really like these watches.

  • bdraguts

This is a seriously interesting way to show the date. Personally, I like the more traditional methods for day and date. If I’m being really spunky, I like big dates!

  • Phil

I think the day would be hard to read, but also who forgets what day it is, really?

  • marko320

Sometimes I get confused about what day it is. If only there was a device that could keep me informed.

  • CRAusmus

Excellent offering again this month. Thanks for the opportunity.

  • jscofi

    wow this watch is awesome!!

  • Scott G

    Love the date display

  • Nathan La Perriere

I enjoy the minimalistic qualities of the watch. First, the days of the week set in a horizontal fashion versus circular is unique and simple to quickly glance at. Second, the large hour divisions and second divisions greatly contrast with the white face. This allows for the time to be quickly read with only a second of consideration. Finally, the date and the hands are classic to many watches and function well with the uniqueness of the watch face.

Nice combination of simple and striking.

  • JP1978

The display is a fresh take on classic views.

  • Jeffrey Gougeon

    Great looking watch

  • Turtlebug0

I haven’t seen the date displayed like this before- and contrary to what some people have said- I totally forget what day it is sometimes as I don’t work a traditional 9am-5pm 7days/week type job.

  • Iram feed

    Interesting day display!

  • Mike L

    very nice!

  • watchguy1

Like the others, I like the simple and easy to read day of the week display. I especially like the larger display with few numbers to confuse the space and to give visual separation between each of the elements.

  • jgpr

    I love the cutaway design!

  • Luqman Abdul Halim

Its a very neat way to display the day, different and unique!

It is difficult to tell at a glance what day of the week it is. Also, a large percentage of the dial is devoted to the day of the week. Doesn’t everyone keep track of the day of week closely to know when the workweek is over and it is time for the weekend? :)

  • HardRoc

I love the way the day of the week is presented. This would be a great addition to any collection.

  • PZ

    Looks nice!

  • Gabi Balas-Baconschi

    only for US residents :(

    • Patrick Kansa

Sorry, but yes – it’s just to keep shipping costs manageable on the contest.

  • hawkman2

Interesting day of week function, I like the multi-layer look. Very nice.

  • David Becker

Very interesting day function; I quite like it!

  • Jonathan F.

I actually like the dashboard-ish day indicator. Fits well the dashboard-gauges aviation aesthetics and really blends in with the grooves surrounding the minutes indicators

  • Neal Goodacre

Would love to have this watch.

  • Jon

This is a sharp-looking watch. It has a unique take on the aviator style.

  • melisa

Hi, I like the way the whole week is displayed in a column like that, it’s unique but nice. Thanks for the giveaway.

  • JimmySteve

    Looks like an epic watch!

  • Tom S.

It’s like a little thermometer! I like it. Easier to read and interesting change from the regular date window.

  • Michal

    That’s one unique looking watch!

  • Heer

I really like the day of the week display, gives it a very instrumental feel – appropriate for a pilot watch.
