i found this old watch in a bric-a-brack shop.
it’s gold. has ‘TRANQUARTZ’ CHRONOGRAPH and then it has SOLAR CELL with a four piece solar cell underneath it… i have the box. the old british man who sold it to me said that the old man who had owned it just died and that it was one of the first ever watches to have a solar cell.
look, so it looks pretty fancy but i can’t find anything on the net about it?
someone want to enlighten me about what i have here?

I have bought many watches and never had such poor quality. My parents bought them and no problems. I have other no problems and they cost under $100.00. I used to work and NEVER had the face scratch! I bought this seiko a little over a year ago. I only wear it to dinner..The face crystal is all scuffed up. Of course no longer under warranty. They wanted $50.00 to replace. JCPENNYS jewlry… They got REALLY Rude and said it must be I had worked in it “AFTER” I told them I havent worked since March 06! well then was told THEN YOU WORE bracelets over it I did NOT and even I must have worn it as a bracelet and somehow that did it. I have NEVER had even CHEAP watches from Macys or Brighton or ANYWHERE look this pitiful and I wore it the least of any watch

Invicta – Stay away. Watches are beautiful w/ elegant styles. Sent minefor repair. Here’s come trouble!! Customer service seemed angry. Watched retuned apprx 3 months later w/scratched crystal, grimy bAND (could have cleaned it), No paper work to show whatI paid for.
