RGM Is 20 Year Old, Celebrates With A New Caliber

RGM Watches, one of the only true manufacturers in the US, is celebrating 20 years of watchmaking excellence with a new Caliber 20, a square movement with an American-invented “Motor Barrel.” It is the company’s third, American-made in-house movement and features a design that reduces friction on the mainspring barrel and transmits power more precisely.

RGM introduces the 400 Chrono: OMG

RGM, based out off Mount Joy, PA, is launching this beautiful chrono this year.

Driven by a larger Valgranges movement, the new Model #400 is a bold statement chronograph that will feature a variety of dials to choose from.

RGM announces two new watches

350ERGM recently announced two new wristwatches, the Timezone 350 E, and the Grande Guilloche Automatic. Both feature RGM’s distinctive ‘engine turning’ design, and look quite nice.

RGM is a watch company in Pennsylvania dedicated to recreating and preserving the watch know-how of the classic old American makers. Back in the 1880s, America’s watch industry was booming along with the growth of the railroads. A little savvy marketing and the rise of the automobile killed all the huge factories of Hamilton, Ohio and Elgin, Illinois but the dream is still alive.
