Just had an interesting email cross my inbox that I thought I’d share out. If you purchase a watch today (the 28th) or tomorrow (the 29th) directly from Xetum Automatic Watches, they’ll throw in a free leather strap for you to have as a spare. All you need to do is forward your order confirmation email to service@xetum.com, letting them know what color strap you want.
Pretty good deal if you were thinking about getting a watch from them, if you ask me.
After taking a look at a few different bronze-encased watches (1,2,3), it’s not much of a stretch to say, hey, why not brass? And that’s what we have here today, courtesy of the Need Supply Co.
For those unfamiliar, Xetum is a company based out of California designing some incredible Swiss-made watches. Prior to now, they’ve offered their watches with a slick (and integrated) leather strap. As of today, however, you can order your watch with a stainless-steel bracelet, if you’re so inclined.
I’m not usually a fan of three handers but this is an exception. The face is clean and the watch is nice and thick. The watch was designed in San Francisco and Jeff added a 2895-2 movement to the Tyndall (an automatic, shown above, that costs $1,395.) Read more…
