The Mijlo Everyday Watch, for Something different everyday
Do you like a little variety on your wrist? Do you want to coordinate your watch to your mood, or your clothes, or your activity? The folks behind the Mijlo Everyday Watch have you covered, with an all-in-one offer of ten interchangeable watch looks through their recent Kickstarter project.
The idea behind the project is to offer two watches and five straps, and make then all interchangeable, so you can easily switch between straps and dials to suit your needs for the day. The two watches are driven by Japanese quartz movements are are in 38mm cases, one with a brushed stainless finish and numbers at 12, 3, 6 and 9, and the other in a rose gold finish with simple hour indexes. Besides the case dimensions, both watches get an orange second hand, and the watch faces look to be free of branding, for a very clean look. The watches are fairly thin at 8mm, so they will work as dress watches, and they are water resistant to 5 ATM, so you don”t need to be overcareful around the water.
Along with the watches, you will get five straps, three in leather, one in canvass and one in rubber. The straps utilize a quick change pin, with a small catch you can pull back to retract the pin which makes swapping straps really easy. The project promises to replace any worn straps in the first two years, and they include a pair of batteries for down the road when the juice runs out. The watch is a little small by today’s standards, but it would probably work well for the ladies or for any guy with a smaller wrist. It can be worn by larger guys (It isn’t a traditional woman’s watch size), but it is something you should be aware of. Right now, the project is fully funded, so a pledge is a commitment to purchase.
