Ah, Sweden! Home to ABBA, at fjord or two, and Ackurat. This company has already released a unique minimalist watch called the M83, a unique piece with a band-in-case design that is reminiscent of the Omega Chronostop.

The 38mm case has a Swiss Ronda movement and comes in five different colors – gold/white, gold/dark grey, silver/steel, silver/light grey and black/white. There is a domed sapphire crystal and the band runs under the backplate, hiding it inside the watch. You can get a leather or metal band.

“The slim size, combined with a high quality Italian leather strap manufactured in Switzerland, or a stainless steel Milanese mesh strap, makes it easy to pair the watch with any outfit, providing a sophisticated look,” said founder Jimmy Andersson.

The watches start at about $140 on Kickstarter and they’re pretty far from their goal – which I suspect our love of Swedish design paired with our love of meatballs can easily remedy.
