Prometheus watches is a fan favorite with some interesting pieces. Most recently they’ve begun releasing the Poseidon collection, a set of mechanical divers that come on steel bracelets and, for a mere $750, give you a great design and a face made of meteorite(!!).

The watches are water resistant to 3,500 meters (hence the Poseidon) and will ship in July. They’re available for pre-order now and are still in the pre-production stage.

The pieces have a Miyota 9015 Automatic Movement and also come with a non-meteor face for $699. The meteorite in question is the Muonionalusta meteorite discovered in Sweden in 1906. This metallic space rock gives a sparkle and shine to your deep-sea diving shenanigans.

We’ve been talking about these guys for years and I’m pleased that they’re still at it, pushing out great pieces that compete with more expensive divers but at an accessible price point. I just hope the meteorite doesn’t turn the wearers superhuman after the odd interaction of the moon and the planet Zorbzar unleashes a wave of energy that changes all things in its path.
