At least, that’s what they’re looking to do with their latest batch of 100F Automatics. If you really only want to hear about the new price, just hop on down to the bottom of the article. For everyone else, read on to learn a little bit more about this watch.

Bathys, of course, is a family-owned brand out of Hawaii producing some very sharp pieces (you can see our earlier writeups here). With the 100F, you’re getting a very cleanly styled piece that would work well for everyday wear. Inside the 41mm steel case (12mm thick), you have either an ETA 2824 or Sellita movement keeping track of the date and time for you.

Topping that movement, you’ve got a black (or ruthenium grey) dial with a subtle sunburst pattern, on top of which you’ve got bold numerals and indices in white; that same boldness is carried over to the handset, which looks appropriately sized for the watch. I’m not 100% sure how I like the differences in the hands (arrow hour hand, sword minute hand), but I have a feeling that’s one of those things that’s just a quirk of personal taste.

I do like how the bright white really helps keep things readable, and really makes “at-a-glance” reading of the time a practical reality on the piece. Paired with the included black leather strap, this is a piece that conceivably could work with a suit, but I think would be better served by something slightly less formal. Then again, that might just be me.

Alright, enough of my spouting my fashion sense at you – on to the the good stuff – the new low price. Due to how well their loyalty sale went in June, they decided to do a price reduction on their 100F model. Chopping $100 off, you can now pick up one of these small-run watches for only $595.  bathyshawaii.com
