Bremont drops Viper price: I love the new Bremonts, especially the Viper, but I didn’t love the price. The three-hander, which is one of Bremont’s first manufacture pieces, was slated to cost $9,000, a bold price for a fairly basic watch. Thankfully, they came to their senses as Bremont drops Viper price.

From the company:

Following careful ongoing review of the market, and with clear direction from CEO Davide Cerrato, in order to give this exceptional model all the support possible to achieve rapid market success, Bremont is pleased to update the RRP of the MB Viper to $5,995 USD.

Honestly, this is the first time I’ve seen a watch company react to pricing concerns so swiftly. I suspect the watch market is a little soft this year so they figure they’ll get these guys out the door faster at a $3K discount. It’s still pricey, but not horrible.
