Once the watch bug has bitten you, you know you’re going to run out space to store watches pretty quickly. Sure, if you’ve only got a few, you can toss them into a drawer or have them on the nightstand.
Then the collection grows, and you grab a cheap watch box, and maybe a winder to house an automatic. But once those options fill up, what do yo do then? And what about the inevitable pile of spare straps that you’ll no doubt accumulate? Or, perhaps you don’t want to leave your watches out on display (for whatever reason, we’re not judging).
In that case, you’re definitely going to want to check out this post over on Worn & Wound. I think what they’ve built here is just about a perfect solution. With the foam that Pelican has on offer, you can customize this to fit whatever you want, in terms of watch sizes, or whatever tools you might want to store.
As far as the Pelican brand goes, we know that it’ll protect your watches, given all the gear (and watches themselves) that already come in, or are stored in, Pelican cases. You also have some great portability here (if you wanted to travel with 1o+ watches), or a quick and easy way to stash the collection away in some hidey hole, if you need to.
