Hello, all,

I’ve been thinking about this for quite a while and I’d like to do it. I’d like to collect a book of watch essays for publication called “About Time.” It would be a vanity project for us watch geeks, but I think we could also raise a bit of interest in the mainstream world as well. I’d like to propose the following:

Send me your best essays, 500-5000 words, on all aspects of watch love. Watchmaking, watchbuying, getting Pop’s watch after he’s passed… everything is fair game. Co-editor Scott and I will read and edit them for content and clarity and we will collect them into a print-on-demand title that will be sold on this site. They will be sold at cost, but all comers will be considered for inclusion. Please email essays to john at wristwatchreview.com with the subject heading “ESSAY.” We will hold this call open until October.

I hope we can get some great essays and I think this will be a blast.
