As a lover of wine and watches it’s nice to see a watch company bringing together the two in a way that is both charming and utilitarian. The L.U.C Heritage Grand Cru by Chopard is a standard cushion-case piece with a certified movement and beautiful leather strap. The movement, 3.3 mm thick calibre 97.01-L, is formed to the case and it features a number of watchmaker’s doodads including “the bevelling, polishing, circular graining and Côtes de Genève meet the high demands of the Poinçon de Genève criteria.”
In short, you’ll be drinking some expensive one with your really expensive watch. From the release:

It is in this spirit that Chopard has designed this watch with its highly distinctive shape reminiscent of the oak barrels from the forests of Bertrange, Jupille and Tronçais, which transform great vintages into exceptional wines.
As you can see, the watch isn’t so much for only wine drinkers but it is aimed at all those who enjoy a nice tipple now and again – the epicurean, as it were. Everything about this screams class, from the large case to the enameled numerals to the beautiful etched movement. While $23,000 is a lot to pay for a three-hander I can definitely see the draw.
