A Chronofighter is a lot of things. At the core, it’s a wonderful watch, with a difference. Graham just released four limited edition Chronofighters, with pin-up girl art.

A chronofighter is a time warrior, if you break out the prefix and substitute a synonym. This is already so much cooler than being a simple time traveler, or time observer. A chronofighter wrestles with the very 4th dimension itself.

When you’re fighting against time, you need to be equipped with the very best weapons for the job. To that end, Graham has made the Chronofighter with a trigger-operated chronograph. The crowns and trigger/pusher are on the sinister side, being a left-hand drive arrangement. It’s important to note that Graham intends for the watch to be worn on the left wrist as usual. “The thumb is the fastest finger,” they say, and you operate the start/stop trigger with the thumb of your right hand.

Chronofighter has always recalled the vintage aviation looks, and that’s no more true today with the launch of the Vintage Nose Art Ltd edition. Chronofighter Vintage Nose Art uses pin-up girls similar to those that might have appeared on WWII US airplanes. Each model has a sunbrushed dial with painted pin-up girl, white Super-LumiNova hands, numerals and indexes
The pin-up’s name and limited edition serial number at 9 o’clock, a white varnish chrono hand with red tip and the chronograph minutes and seconds’ counters hands are rhodiated.

The dials are black for Sally and Anna, and blue for Lilly and Nina. Sally and Nina feel like a 1960s era pinup, where Anna and Lilly feel like WWII era art. They come on blue, black, or olive green straps to match the dial and art. When you choose one of these, you choose which pin-up girl you want, and then whether you want a pin and buckle or deployant buckle strap.

The movement inside the watches is the Graham caliber G1747 automatic chronograph movement which is a flipped and modified base ETA 7750. It’s not as large as some of the largest Chronofighters, coming in at 44 mm, with the steel fast-action start/stop trigger and reset pusher, and a steel bezel. The domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating tops off the front, and the aee-through sapphire crystal case back shows off the rotor and movement. The watch is fun, has a neat vintage look, and is completely respectable from a mechanical and Swiss perspective. There are just 100 of each model available, and they could be yours for $5450.00 for each piece. If you’re interested, please find your local authorized dealer at graham1695.com.
