While Space Jam: A New Legacy isn’t releasing until next week (on July 16th), Fossil is letting you get the scoop on their latest watch collections that are being launched along with the movie. Read on for a quick rundown of the three different collections that are being created here.

First up, we’ve got the All Stars collection. This is the entry level side of things, and has five different watches and coordinated card cases (ie, a wallet just for holding your credit and membership cards). You’ve got your Bugs, Lola, Tweet, Daffy, and Marvin showing up for these – ie, the big names of the Looney Tunes. For these, the watches will retail at $89, and the card cases come in at $48 – which feels a bit steep even for a licensed wallet, unless they’ve managed to get some top shelf Horween leather involved or something.

Next up, we’ve got the Slam Dunk collection, which features just two of the Tune squad – Bugs and Lola Bunny. This has a super chaotic screen-print look to it, which has a few layers of printing, and a lot of colors. While I dig that 80s vibe of the dial design, it looks like it’s going to be a pain to read the time on them. However, if you’re all about the design, you can get the watch for $159, get matched backpacks for $218 – $398 (again, that seems like a BIG swing for a backpack), and some small leather pouches at $48.

Last, but not least, there’s a collection for the super-fan of the Space Jame movies – the Tune Squad Box Set. For this, you get a ginormous box. What’s in the box? Well, a watch, of course – which has a lenticular dial design so you can see the two teams, all in one dial. It’s also got three additional straps, a commemorative coin, bag tag, and then a full set of figurines for you to stage your own Space Jam on the bookshelf. Again, this is for the superfan, as only 75 are being released, and it’s coming in hot at $500.

And there you have it – a whole range of products coming out from Fossil as part of the new Space Jam movie. How will the reinvention of this franchise hold up? We’ve got no clue! If you’re all about that courtside life, and like the dash of looniness mixed in, well, then I think Fossil has your back this summer. fossil.com
