We know what you’re thinking – Mudita, the phone company? If you’re not thinking that, you can get up to speed with this article. So, yes, Mudita has branched out from minimalistic cell phones to give you a sort-of-companion watch that allows you to focus in on the time, in the form of the Mudita Moment.

At first blush, the Mudita Moment has a clean and simple look, like something we’d see coming from Germany or Scandinavia. Well, surprise for you then, Mudita calls Poland home, so this is a style that we may not associate with that country, it fits with the wider design ethos of the brand.

With the Mudita Moment coming in at 38mm, it’ll fit a variety of wrists, and in white, cream, or black dial options, you’ll be able to pick one that fits your style and taste (as will the variety of strap options). It is a simple three-hander, powered by the automatic Miyota 9015, but there’s another twist there on the dial.

Those 15 dots around the dial, those aren’t just for decoration. No, the Mudita Moment also wants to help you remember to be mindful of your breathing, and you can use those dots along with the seconds hand to work on your breathing, staying calm and in the moment.

For the Mudita Moment, they’re planning to make quite a number, but it is still somewhat limited – 10,000 in total. The watch itself is up for pre-order, with the watch and an additional strap available at a pre-order discount of $377. Just a single strap (and the watch) goes for $367, or a strap on it’s own is $37. Check out all the options over at mudita.com
