Perhaps it’s just due to the relative ages of the WWR staff, but we’re of an opinion that the Q Timex lineup has really been hitting all of the right marks. It’s vintage without being overdone, and their latest really ups the color ante. Meet the Q Timex Falcon Eye.

The watch itself, well, that’s the same Q Timex that we’ve come to know and love, but this time with a dial that calls to mind the semi-precious gemstone Falcon’s Eye. While the photos in this article are showcasing the vivid green version, they’ve also got a blue-dialed version (that also brings along a golden hue on the bezel). As the specs don’t call it out (and the pricing is still very affordable) I’m assuming that these dials are not actually made of the stone.

Still, if you want to get yourself a bit more immersed into a 70s-era watch, hard to say you’d be going wrong with the $179 Q Timex Falcon Eye, which is available now directly over at timex.com
