Back in August, we introduced you to a brand that was new to us, Reservoir. I mean, they’re not a new brand, per se, as they’ve been making watches for a bit, and they just recently released another new model – the Reservoir Kanister.

They’re keeping with the same concept of a single-hand, retrograde minutes display and jumping hour. And hey, if the recipe works, why change it up? Well, they have changed things up a bit here, and that’s noticeable in some of the dial design elements, and the colors involved. For the Reservoir Kanister, they’ve drawn inspiration from the 356 Speedster, an iconic car design in its own right. Here, it’s specifically the speedometer that gives us the look of the watch.

At a high-level, for this watch, we’d suggest you read our prior article, as some of the broad strokes painted there will continue on into this model, in terms of functionality and practical usage. Again, the big changes here are in the dial look and colors involved. You can pick up the Reservoir Kanister with a leather strap and NATO for $4,150, or in a kit that has a total of four leather straps for $4,350. You can check it all out over at reservoir-watch.com
