Do you love your ThinkGeek Equalizer t-shirt, but wish you could wear it more frequently?  Then, friend, TokyoFlash has quite an alternative to offer you.

My guess is that a graphical sound meter has been implemented in watches before, but I can’t think of any off the top of my head.  As with most TF watches, it seems to be well-designed, and is at a really affordable price (intro price is $99, afterwards it goes up).  Even if you’re not thinking about buying the watch, I’d recommend you give the video on the product page a watch.

“OTO – which means ‘sound’ in Japanese, is the first watch design from Tokyoflash to feature a sound sensor. The integrated graphic equalizer display reacts to music and ambient sound creating a striking visual effect on your wrist. Customise to have time only, time and equalizer or equalizer only, to fit your environment. A digital LCD watch, the design has LED backlighting that lights up to the beat.”

Kisai OTO was originally a concept on the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog submitted by Tokyoflash fan Sam Jerichow from Germany.

Available in black anodised aluminium with a blue, green, red or amber display, Kisai OTO includes time, date and alarm, is a USB rechargeable design and is available at the special release price of $99 (€73, £62) until Thursday February 14th at 4pm (Japan time).
