Back in February (see here), we brought you word of Xetum’s impending new model lineup.  Well, today, that line has been released. At this time, we don’t have much more information than what is in the press releases, but we should have a sample on-hand soon for a true hands on-review.  Coming it at just under $1000, the lineup offers the following:

  • 40mm stainless steel case (only 11mm thick)
  • ETA 2824-2 automatic movement (38 hour power reserve)
  • AR-coated sapphire crystal up front, mineral crystal display back
  • Rubber or nylon strap options (20mm)

You can definitely see the brand “DNA” in the case design and crown, as well as in the fonts and numerals in use on the dial, while allowing this new line to hearken to an automotive-inspired theme.

As I mentioned, we should have our own review forthcoming.  In the meantime, you see what Ariel thought of the watches right here.
