The dream of holding millions of stars in the palm of your hands just became reality. The stars are within reach, if you have 4 grand and a love of Frederique Constant.

Designed by Mrs. Aletta Stas, co-founder of Frederique Constant, the Slimline Moonphase Star Manufacture mixes the feminine and the night sky. Frederique Constant have taken a rose gold-plated steel or plain steel 38.8mm case with 60 diamonds (0.5cts) set around the bezel, with a see through caseback. The bezel surrounds a sapphire crystal, like you might expect.

The displaycase back reveals the new FC-701 automatic in-house movement decorated with Perlage and Cotes de Geneva details. The FC-701 is based on the familiar FC in house movements they’ve been making for a few years.

The time and moonphase are set by the crown. The sunray night blue dial paired with rose gold printed stars, or shiny black dial matched with the silver printed stars, both look good. The hour indices are 8 handset diamonds with four rose gold or silver colored applied indices at the 12-3-6-9 hours. The Moonphase subdial is at the 12 position.

There are two models: the Rose gold comes with the blue dial and blue alligator strap. The Black dial comes in the polished steel case with the glossy black alligator strap.

The Slimline Moonphase Stars Manufacture is available from Frederique Constant, for 4395USD in steel or 4695 in rose gold.

If you’re a lover of diamonds, feel free to chase the stars.
