What do we use a watch for?  To tell what time it is.  Time, however, is a funny thing.  Generally, we don’t give it much thought – but if you do, then you realize that time is something that, as Steve Miller put it, just keeps on slipping into the future.  This also means that we’re all operating under a single (time-related) premise – at some point, we’re going to run out of minutes.

Now, whether that’s a morbid or a motivating (seize the day!) thought, I’ll leave that up to you.  Regardless of which camp you’re in, if that thought appeals to you, then Mr. Jones has the perfect watch for you, now available over at Watchismo.

The watch is called The Accurate, due mostly to the quartz movement housed inside the case.  Of course, the message that the hands spells out (Remember… You Will Die) also contributes to that title, I can only imagine.

The 46mm stainless steel case is PVD coated, giving the watch a thoroughly monochrome feel (well, aside from that red seconds hand).  I think this also helps the hands to blend in a bit better – if someone wasn’t paying that close of attention, they might just think it was an odd pattern on the watch, not some motivational reminder.

The watch is available now from Watchismo for the price of $219.99 – a little high for a quartz three-hander, but are you putting a price on the reminder to do all you can with your time?
