On the heels of a slew of Trident announcements, Christopher Ward has one more thing. It’s not nearly as exciting as the codas Steve Jobs used to deliver, but it makes a lot of sense. The latest addition to the Trident range is a blue ceramic bezel and guilloche wave-pattern dial. While the only news here is a new colorway, it’s an obvious choice for a dive watch. Of the current Trident range, this would be my second choice, after the C60 Trident Bronze Pro 600 (which, coincidentally, also has a blue dial).

The specs match the rest of the C60 Trident Pro 600 range. The new Blue is water-resistant up to 600m/2000ft, its case is made from marine-grade stainless steel, and it is powered by the Sellita SW200-1, a self-winding mechanical movement with a 38-hour power reserve. Pricing and strap options (stainless steel bracelet, rubber, soft touch leather, or nylon NATO) also match the rest of the Trident range, starting at $730. christopherward.com
