Reader Edward send along this great photo from C4ISR Journal, a warfare magazine aimed at execs. It seems the Oakley Saddleback is the watch to have if you’re staring down a target at 2 miles. Amazingly good PR for Oakley, I guess.

John lives in Brooklyn and has loved watches since he got his first Swatch Irony automatic in 1998. He is the editor of WristWatchReview.
Somehow, a trendy hip watch like an Oakley just seems really out of place here. The $50 Casio seems a lot more appropriate to such a hostile environment.
On the other hand, the Saddleback is a handsome and well-made watch even if a bit of a style risk.
That’s funny….I use chase durer on all my ops. 1000XL UDT. The luminous glow is superior to anything oakley has…..and it wont alert the enemy like those tritium bulb watches.
