Staying fit and eating right are important. You already know that. That’s why you take the stairs when you can, and drink more water now than you ever have before. Good. Keep it up. We’re proud of you. You also know that squats, veggies, and pumping iron are good for you. Or, in this case, steel.

Oris is releasing a special edition Chronoris as it teams up to bring even greater awareness to men’s health issues. Along with Movember, and New York Yankees manager, Aaron Boone, Oris supports men living longer, healthier lives.

“As an independent Swiss watch company, Oris has the freedom to go its own way and to choose projects we consider not just important, but urgent,” says Rolf Studer, Oris Joint Executive Officer. “One of those is men’s health, which is why we’re working with Movember, a charity working to stop men dying too young.”

To increase men’s health awareness Oris is introducing a special edition to its Chronoris, a modern day classic design. And, this special edition is as unique as it is gorgeous. A solid black dial melded with subtle white indices and strikingly offset with orange seconds hand, and rose gold hour and minutes hand. And what hands they are. The rose gold-plated hands counterbalance the strong steel case, and peer out from underneath the domed sapphire crystal like the shiny glint from a winning pitcher’s smile.

The watch has two crowns, one at the 2 o’clock position, the other at 4 o’clock. The former winds and sets this automatic timepiece, the latter adjusts the inner rotating bezel. Choosing between a steel bracelet and folding clasp or leather strap and steel buckle is always a tough personal choice. Why oh why can’t I have everything you may ask?

You’re one step closer with this special edition. Both sets come with a little something extra. Whether you ultimately choose bracelet or strap, each set comes supplied in a special presentation box with a leather travel pouch and a red and white NATO fabric strap with stainless steel buckle. Yes! Who doesn’t love extras? I was tempted to introduce a pun here about extra innings, but I restrained myself.

Your mental and physical health are important. What can you do to ensure you stay in peak running order like a fine swiss watch? Grow a mustache, get a regular checkup, eat more veggies. Oh, and you may want to check out the new special edition Oris Chronoris. The mustache is, of course, optional.
