If you’ve got some spare Doge laying around maybe it’s time to pick up a Perrelet watch. The 240-year-old company has partnered with BitPay to offer crypto purchases of their watches.

“Miguel Rodriguez, dynamic and ambitious entrepreneur, owner of the brand since 2004 along with a prestigious watchmaking pole comprising no less than six production sites, guaranteeing Perrelet total independence in the manufacture of its timepieces, has fully perceived and embraced the value of digital progress,” wrote the company.

“After last year’s opening of the E-commerce platform for the EU countries, including Switzerland, and now also available in the USA, Perrelet is pleased to inform that, from now on, online purchases can also be settled with cryptocurrencies.”

The company will accept Bitcoin, Etherum, Wrapped Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Eurocoin, Litecoin, and other cryptocurrencies.

The company joins resellers like WatchBox in accepting cryptocurrencies at checkout. Perrelet seems to be one of the first prestige brands to offer this service.
