While Raven isn’t as well known (or covered) on these pages as Benarus, they’re actually coming from the same guys – so you’ve got some idea of what to expect in terms of quality and build.

Here, however, they’re taking more of a vintage-inspired look (similar to older Rolex’s, which the CW Trident also follows).  The first model, the 40mm Vintage (pictured at the top of this post) has a stainless steel case and 200m water resistance rating.

In keeping with a vintage feel, it has the following styling queues:

  • High domed acrylic crystal
  • Gold hands
  • No crown guards

Inside the case, you’ve got a Miyota 9015 automatic movement doing the heavy lifting; on the outside you’ve got a C3-lumed bezel (as well as the hands and dial).  If you jump in on this pre-order (100 with date window, 50 without), you’ll also have some nice extras:

  • Ships in a 5 watch travel roll
  • An extra zulu strap (and lug bars)

Now, should you prefer your vintage-inspired designs modernized a bit more, you’ll want to look at the 44mm Deep Series.  While they’re visually similar to the 40mm model, there are some key differences:

  • Double-domed sapphire crystal
  • Water resistance rating upped to 1,220 meters
  • Sapphire bezel insert
  • Sword hands

Here, we still have C3 lume on the bezel, hands, and dial, so things will glow nicely in the dark.  You also get the same extras as above (rubber strap instead of Nato), and the same Miyota 9015 automatic.  For this model, only (100) pieces will be produced.

To get in on either of these pre-orders, you can hit the pages linked above, and then drop them an email to get on the list.  The 44mm comes in at $700 (plus shipping), and the 40mm is $580 plus shipping.
