We’ve long been fans of what you can find in the Casio Edifice lineup. While those tend to be a bit more loaded up with tech (ie, connecting to your phone and the like), they do have simpler models as well that still bring good looks to the table. A recent release that hits those marks is the Casio Edifice EFB680D.
As you can tell from that photo up above, you can get the Casio Edifice EFB680D in either a blue or a black dial. What really grabbed my eye about these watches, though, is the octagonal bezel that they’ve wrapped around the sapphire crystal. That sets up the angled theme which carries onto the bracelet as it angles down to the clasp, as well as the overall profile of the case itself.
As you can tell from the dial layout, and the pushers flanking the crown, the Casio Edifice EFB680D has chronograph capability (just don’t use those pushers underwater, ok?). Past that chronograph function, the watch is a simpler one, offering the date and time. No step tracking, no talking to satellites, no talking to your phone. It’s a basic watch for someone looking for a little bit different style.
Whichever dial color you chose, you can get the Casio Edifice EFB680D for $180, and then not have to worry about changing the battery out for about two years.
