Time and again, we’ve come away impressed with what Timex has developed with their Q Timex platform. They’ve hit on a basic design platform that can pull vintage cues and give a modern look to things, and they’ve turned it into a bit of a chameleon, with the lugless case being the hallmark. The newest addition to the Q party is the Q Timex Three Time Zone.

Frankly, it doesn’t feel like Timex could shove any more functionality into the Q Timex Three Time Zone. Obviously, you’ve got the chronograph functionality, given away by the pushers flanking the crown as well as the subdials. Then you’ve got that classic GMT hand in there that – along with the rotating bezel – means you can track up to three different time zones (with the main handset being the first time zone). Then, you do also have the date window between 4 and 5, so this really covers all the bases.

Available in either a rubber strap ($219) or steel bracelet ($239), and with a white or black dial, the Q Timex Three Time Zone has you covered. Frankly, even though I’m not a chronograph guy, this is one I’d wear and happily consider for a travel watch. The one thing that might give me pause is the 50m WR rating, as you’d want to keep that out of the pool. If Timex bumps that up to 100m, though, then this would be a superb travel watch in our book.
