While I doubt may folks under 30 know and love Popeye, there’s definitely a subset of the watch world that is looking for a jump hour Popeye watch with a bold hour window with Popeye’s beast-mode arm for a minutes hand.

The 41.5mm watch comes from watchmaker Reservoir and comes in a satin finish with dark face.

From the release:

Beneath the anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the highlight of the Reservoir model is on display. Making smart use of a grey dial, a picture of Popeye in full charge is hand painted upon it. Faithful touches of color in the image help make it quickly striking against its dark background, with bright white accenting in the comic-style indices assisting in the high legibility for the novelty.

The timepiece is available in a limited series of 200 pieces. Each numbered model is presented in a white wooden box adorned with an image of “The Popeye Family” and a special embroidery in honor of Popeye. A certificate of authenticity accompanies the box.

The watch runs a Calibre RSV-240 with jumping hour and retrograde minute. This means the little hours window at six oclock will show the hour and switch on the hour and Popeye’s hand will swing from 00 to 60 and return at the turn of the hour. A pretty cool little complication.

The pleasure of Popeye will set you back $4,450 which isn’t great for what amounts to a clever three hander. That said, if you love Popeye and have a little spinach to spend then you could do worse.
