Yesterday, we started taking a look at a big and bold model from Novo. Today, we’ll wrap up our review on this piece.
So, we left off talking about some issues with the lugs that I ran into, so let’s start there today (the bracelet, not issues). For those of you who adjust your bracelets at home, this one is very user friendly. It’s got arrows on the inside of the bracelet that denote which direction to push the pins out. A minor detail, but an appreciated one.
I was able to adjust it to fit decently on my 7.25″ wrist, but it was a bit looser than I preferred (one more link out made it too tight). And last but not least with the bracelet, the signed clasp held things in place quite well, and I didn’t notice any issues with it digging in.
Finally, I was warned that the plating might not be quite perfect, as I was sent a pre-production model. However, I found it to be very solidly done, and created a greate matte finish. Oh, and you don’t need to worry if you get caught out in the rain with this either, as it’s water resistant to 30 meters. Not a watch for swimming, no, but it’ll stand up to the daily splashes.
All in all, this is a very intriguing package, and can be yours for only $240. While I wished it wore a little bit more tightly to the wrist, it’s definitely got a style that you won’t find from many other manufacturers right now. And who knows – it might just help you relax your view of the passing time.
