rgm 20

RGM is no stranger to these pages (see here), and we’ve even mentioned their new Caliber 20 movement (here), so why am I rehashing “old” news?

It’s because, although they announced the movement back in January of this year, it was until the end of June that the first watch featuring that movement actually shipped.  Pictured above, you can see some amazing components such as a platinum case, rose gold guilloche dial, and mother-of-pearl used for the moon discs.

It does a heart good to see this sort of craftsmanship moving forward and delivering on what was initially promised.  If you want more information on the progress, you can check out their blog post (here); if you’d like more explanation on what makes the movement special, check out our earlier writeup(here).  rgmwatches.com
