Romain Jerome will launch a Pokemon-themed watch

Have you caught all the Pokemans? Well Romain Jerome wants you to know that you probably haven’t, you poor excuse for a gym master, because now they are releasing a Pokemon-themed RJ watch. Details are as sparse as Omastars but if previous watches are any indication these $20,000 watches will be vaguely nostalgia-inducing yet ultimately disappointing. Pooka pooka!

?Trust RJ-Romain Jerome to always prepare something unexpected, and after months of planning, RJ is happy to reveal its newest collaboration with The Pokémon Company.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the one and only Pikachu, the brand is releasing this autumn an exclusive collection of 20 timepieces, the Pokémon-DNA, available in a selection of 20 RJ’s official retailers for a unique price of 20’000 currency units in CHF, EUR, USD and GBP.

Gotta Catch’em before they sell out! PIKAPIKA!

Thank you for reading this WristWatchReview post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.

WristWatchReview is one of the few remaining truly independent watch news outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent watch sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis. We don't play the games the other sites play and we've paid for it when it comes to ad revenue.

We would love for you to support us on Patreon and every little bit helps. Thank you.

  1. Are you serious? Wait, it’s not April 1st anywhere so I guess you are. Pricing comes out of thin air…it’s the 20th anni so let’s make 20 and charge $20K for it. Perhaps were lucky is not the 30th anniversary other wise there will be 10 more watches at $30K a pop.
