Sure, it may be Monday morning, but that can’t stop us from dreaming of a night out or the the weekend where we can throw on a suit (or tux, if you prefer), and ponder our choice of watch to strap on for the evening, right?  I think not!  And with that, I present the Zenith Ultra Thin for your consideration.

As the name tells you, this is a seriously thin watch – 7.6mm thick, to be exact (which means, no, that picture up top is NOT being smashed by the page layout).  Lest you think that it’s a small watch, it does measure in at 40mm in diameter – so it should have a nice wrist presence when not tucked under your shirt cuff.

Beating away at 28,800 BPH is an in-house movement, their Elite 681 Caliber, which features a 50 hour power reserve and Côtes de Genève decoration on the oscillating weight.  On the face of the dial you can have your choice of indicators (depending on the variant you select) and small seconds at the 9 o’clock position; covering the dial you have a sapphire crystal with AR coating (the caseback also features a sapphire crystal to show the movement).

This watch has a classic design that will be at home in any formal environment, and is available in a variety of finishes, including the stainless steel shown here, or rose gold; dials can be silver or black, for around $2800.  These all come on an alligator-pattern leather strap, and this is the one thing I would change out.  Of course, that’s more personal preference than anything – the strap is perfectly fine, I’m not just a fan of the alligator pattern.
