The new “green” Aquaracer is out and it’s pretty sexy. The $2,200 watch comes in his and hers – 43mm and 32mm – and the larger model runs a Calibre 5 Automatic movement while the smaller one runs quartz.

“Ideal for an individual or purchased together as couple’s watches, these modern Aquaracer models invite the wearers to live the good life – whether that’s cruising on the waves or exploring the world below the surface,” writes TAG because that’s how Swiss press releases are written.

Interestingly, the larger model features a very nice 3D face with deeply-embedded lines that “resembles the wooden docks where sailboats are moored.” It is also water resistant to 300 meters.

Is it the best possible diver available? No. But is it a nice update for a pretty inexpensive watch? Sure. It should be hitting the online store shortly and it should be a nice addition to a fairly staid line of divers.
