It’s the start of a new month, so you know what that means – it’s time for a new giveaway! This time around, we’ve got one of the more interesting watches I’ve had the pleasure to review, the Ovi Watch Prunus.

We’ve looked at a few wooden watches over the years here, and what impressed me so much with the Ovi Watch Prunus is how the case and dial are all of one piece, with 3D milling occurring to create the indices. This is really quite a clever approach, and results in a really unique look, not to mention a rather superb fit and finish.
A wooden watch may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for those who it is, the Ovi Watch Prunus is sure to impress. For all of those people, you of course have your chance to win the very one we reviewed. To get your entry in, do the following:

I happen to have a wooden watch, complete with wooden bracelet, and I love it. Its a very wide bracelet and a heavy looking case, yet its the most comfortable watch I own, because there is absolutely no weight to it. I completely forget its even there.
Wood has always been my favorite non-traditional material, and when I saw your previous coverage of this watch it shot to the top of my list of favorites. It’s a beauty.
I saw many different materials being used for watches but the one i found most curious is the Giuliano Mazzuoli Cemento, whose case is partially made out of concrete. Not necessarily practical but an interesting idea indeed. On the more wearable style instead i’ll probably stick to ceramic as an alternate material
I’d choose the Panerai Radiomir Black Seal Ceramica.
I only know of another wood watch (Jord), though I don’t own one.
I would have to say wood is my favorite. It feels more organic that a hunk of metal on my wrist. Plus, it is a fantastic conversation starter.
Wood being a natural material seems like it would be perfect to make a watch from. I really enjoyed watching how this watch was made.

I don’t have any watch that is not steel or plastic. I am making a transition to a vegan life for the sake of our planet, and I want a wooden watch to symbolize my motivation. I think this model will be perfect.
Wood is a natural and sustainable material for a watch, as well as providing comfort and elegance.

It really is quite interesting. I prefer mechanical watches, but the novelty of a concrete or wooden watch piques my interest.
