While we’re certainly not in the midst of any sort of watch shows or fairs, there have been a number of new watch releases that have hit. One that just came up earlier today is the new line, the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT collection.
While the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT collection is new, it has some pretty close ties to the watches that have come before (and more than just in the styling of the handset). For the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT, you’ve got a case shape that evokes the award-winning Tonda Chronor watch from 2017, along with a fluted bezel (which, in general, is one of my most favorite design cues as of late) that hearkens to the Toric collection. It’s a clean and simple steel sports watch (or rose gold, if you prefer) that can pull double duty as a dress piece.
If, on the other hand, you want something more than a “simple” three-hander, then the Parmigiani Fleurier Tondagraph GT is where you can look. Here, courtesy of the PF043 automatic caliber, you get not just a chronograph complication, but also an annual calendar function, which will certainly come in quite handy in these days that all seem to blur together. That said, if you want this to help you track your day, well, move quickly, as only 200 of these will be available.
On the other hand, if you like your limited edition but don’t want all the extra complications from the Tondagraph, then you can go back to the Tonda GT line – you’ve got the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Rose Gold Blue (pictured above; 150 pieces) coming on the scene as well.
All in all, I do rather like the Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda GT collection. Not that this the water I fish in, but I think the case sizing might be a touch larger than I might otherwise prefer. However, if you’re looking for a really nice watch that can do everything – and isn’t like the Rolex your buddy has been raving about since he bought it – this is a good place to start, for sure. Pricing for the collection starts at $13,500 and ranges up to $24,900 (see the full details below). parmigiani.com

Thank you for reading this WristWatchReview post. With so many things competing for everyone’s attention these days, we really appreciate you giving us your time. We work hard every day to put quality content out there for our community.
WristWatchReview is one of the few remaining truly independent watch news outlets. We do not have a giant corporation behind us, and we rely heavily on our community to support us, in an age when advertisers are increasingly uninterested in sponsoring small, independent watch sites — especially a site like ours that is unwilling to pull punches in its reporting and analysis. We don't play the games the other sites play and we've paid for it when it comes to ad revenue.
We would love for you to support us on Patreon and every little bit helps. Thank you.
