vcr-rewind

Hello and thanks for stopping by this week’s edition of Watch Video Rewind, where we find interesting watch related videos from across the world wide web.  This time around, we have a prototype watch review, an Alien watch, an outdoors watch comparison, and another diver from a microbrand we’ve not heard from in awhile.

While I myself have never seen a Gruppo Gamma watch “in the steel”, I am familiar with the brand, and their combination of style and affordability should be appealing to many of our readers.  To that end, this video review from Watch Report goes over the watch, and outlines what will be changed from this prototype to the production model.

Having just recently watched the entirety of the Alien movie collection (good and bad), it was with interest that I found this review of the Seiko Giugiaro – aka the watch Ripley wore in Aliens.

Then, in the vein of our collaborations with Everyday Carry, I ran across this comparison of two great outdoors-oriented watches, the Suunto Traverse Alpha and Garmin Fenix.

Last, but not least, we get to see a review of our friends from Portugal, Borealis, with this review of the Borealis Estoril.

And with that, I’ll wrap up this week’s edition of Watch Video Rewind.  If you stumble across any interesting watch (or time) related videos out there, or if you make your own Watch Story, drop us a line. If we end up using in the watch video rewind from your suggestion, we’ll be sure to tip our hats (electronically, if not literally) in your general direction.
