We first brought your attention to the Human Time project back in October of last year, and they’re still going strong.  As a matter of fact, now that they’ve hit their one-year anniversary, they have a special model that they’re coming out with.

(For more information on what HTP is all about, check out our previous post here).  To me, the watch looks like a cross between their HTP-M (thinner bezel) and their HTP-1 (the canteen styling).  All three models share similar dial designs and layouts, which, while reminiscent of many a “vintage” model, has some subtle tweaks in the numbers.

Here, on the anniversary model, you’ve got a 46mm case (50mm if you include the crown) housing the quartz three-hander movement with date display.  The case, with it’s mineral crystal (I believe) has a water resistance rating of 50 meters, and comes on a hand-sewn leather strap.  All in all, a nice bit of styling.

The last major difference with this watch, as compare to the rest of HTP’s lineup is the fact that this is a limited-edition piece.  Only 100 will be made, and when they’re gone, they’re gone.  If this is like their other models, it’s likely going to sell out quickly (HTP-1’s will be in stock in December; some HTP-M’s are available now).

At an asking price of only $115, it’s a good deal.   Now, if this was just the watch by itself, I’d be iffy on the price.  Once you add in the fact that you’re actually helping others out with your purchase (a medical professional in a developing country gets a watch as well), I think it’s a fair price that they’re asking for.

Let us know in the comments if you’ve picked up anything from HTP’s lineup for yourself.
