As part of my job of scouring the internet for the weekly Watching the Web, I came across a review of Laps watches, simple timepieces with a bit of whimsy in their presentation. So I thought I would try to track down other makers that might put a smile on your face as you glance down at your wrist.

One of the brands we like here at WWR is Mr. Jones, a British watchmaker that crates colorful and whimsical watches. Check out some of the reviews we have posted in the past for Mr. Jones Watches.
Another fun brand we like to highlight from time to time is Tokyoflash Japan. The video above is a fairly comprehensive video review of the Tokyoflash Japan Radioactive Watch.
And finally, here is another brand we have featured from time to time, Projects Watches. This short video of the Time is Short watch gives a pretty good overview of how this brand can get playful in their design.
