rewind_logo_1Welcome back to our regular feature, the Watch Video Rewind.  In this series, we bring to light videos we feel are interesting and worth sharing out with our readers.  Today, we’ve got an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Documentary, and a look at what actually makes up the art of watchmaking.

When it comes to Audemars Piguet, the Royal Oak is an instantly recognizeable icon.  Starting off with a a sketch of the watch, this playlist (found on the AP official channel) are then taken through the manufacturing process, and then wrap things up with one of my favorite things to watch – the whole thing being assembled.  Think of it as a sort of follow-on to the video Matt included last week.

Now, what about the art of watchmaking?  Its often implied in the videos we post up, but I don’t believe that I’ve run across one that celebrates the actual process of making the components and pulling it all together.  This video takes care of that, as well as giving you some peeks into what some luxury brands are doing.

And with that final video, we’ll wrap up this weeks Watch Video Rewind.  We scour the internet for watch related videos so you don’t have to, but if you come across a video that you’d like to see featured in this series, feel free to drop us a line.
