Sunday, Sunday, Sunday…  And that means monster truck rallies, football, and the Watch Video Rewind, where we highlight a few watch related videos we find from around the WWW.  Today, I am going to make it all about pocket watches.

Our first video is a bit of animation from a few of the folks who work at Pixar.  The team wanted to show that animation is useful is telling more compelling stories that are not aimed at children.  Not that you couldn’t have your kids watch this, it is no more heart wrenching than Carl and Elle’s marriage montage in Up, but it isn’t really designed for kids.

Here is a bit more of a straight ahead video of a pocket watch in action, featuring a nice vintage American movement.

Here I have a short video from the guys at Pawn Stars regarding two pocketwatches.  Both are vintage, both have similar overall looks, but one is worth way more than the other.  A nice little bit of history here.

Speaking of vintage pocket watches, here is a documentary of the Waltham Watch Company a key player in the Industrial revolution here in the US.

And with that, I’ll wrap up this week’s edition of Watch Video Rewind.  If you stumble across any interesting watch (or time) related videos out there, or if you make your own Watch Story, drop us a line. If we end up using in the watch video rewind from your suggestion, we’ll be sure to tip our hats (electronically, if not literally) in your general direction.
