Watch Video RewindWelcome to a new month, and our regular Sunday feature, the Watch Video Rewind. In this series, we like to take a break from words about watches, and instead bring you videos about watches, watch making, or sometimes even music about watches. In this week’s edition, we have a couple of factory tours, and a couple of “Watch Stories” videos, which dives into the background of favorite watches of some prominent people.

First up, we have a visit to Alpina’s HQ in Switzerland.  Ostensibly it’s all about their smart watch (which is just like the Frederique Constant version), but it’s also a factory tour of sorts, with some testing and the like.

What’s that, you want another factory tour?  Ok, you’ve got it!  This time, let’s head over to Japan and visit Seiko.  This one is a bit different, as it a bunch of stills stitched together and set to music. Just pretend you were the one taking the pictures!

For the first “Watch Stories” video, I wanted to highlight this one on the Vulcain Cricket, as I am fascinated by mechanical watches that have alarm functions.

For our other Watch Stories video, we have on on a vintange Junghans Max Bill, which is a stunning design, whether vintage or vintage-inspired.

That’s it for this week’s edition of Watch Video Rewind.  If you stumble across any interesting watch (or time) related videos out there, drop us a line. If we end up using in the watch video rewind from your suggestion, we’ll be sure to tip our hats (electronically, if not literally) in your general direction.
