A skeleton Miyota movement? A brass number plate in gold or silver? A glass case that looks like something Breguet coughed up on a particularly hard day at the atelier? Sign me up!

The Orsto is a glass three-handed watch with some very unique styling. Based in UK, the crowdfunded piece looks to be raising $27,000 and is halfway there. Early bird pricing puts it at $145, not bad at all for an automatic.

Interestingly, this thing is also water resistant and apparently you can wear it snorkeling, skiing, or climbing out of a damn swamp with a machine gun and popping a cap in some bad mofos. Your call.

In all I like how this thing looks and I’d love to see it up close. Solid parts, an interesting design, and a little quality go a long way in crowdfunding and here’s hoping this is one of the good ones.
